The Parents Association for the Mentally
Handicapped (PAMENCAP), Godavarikhani which was Registered on 06-03-‘87 for the
welfare of Mentally Handicapped and their families started a Special School in
Fertilizer Corporation of India, Ramagundam in October, 1987 which was
subjected to closed within a span of 6 months due to the financial constrains.
Later the President, PAMENCAP, Godavarikhani Mr. D.Krishna Kumar has taken
initiation by going Pillar to Post. After repeated representations for a period
of 2 years to the higher management of Singareni Collieries Company Limited
(SCCL), succeeded in establishment of three (3) Special Classes under
integrated education programme at Sector-I High School, Godavarikhani on 16-03-1988
with the technical guidance and complete help of the then Director, National
Institute for Mentally Handicapped (NIMH, Secunderabad) and his team.

In this hi-tech, dynamic world of today
with modern advancements in every sphere mankind too has become mechanical and
has joined the rate for race for the ‘survival of the fittest'.
So, who is mentally challenged person?
Being mentally challenged is a problem of the mind that affects an individuals
thought, feelings and behavior. These disturbances often happen since the time
of their birth or sometime due to fatal accident or incident that strikes them
drastically. These disturbances often cause unhappiness and leads to socially
unacceptable behavior.

How Can You Help ?
- By providing equipments educaides etc., to our organization
- By providing donations/financial help through foreign contributions and Indian currency. (Donations are exemption under section 80G of Income Tax act)
- By providing orders for the products being produced by our special employees.
- By sharing your expertise in vocational skills and other basic needs like medical aid, special skills and speech therapy, dance, music, physiotherapy,cooking,knitting,tailoring etc.,
- By buying regularly products like note books, stationary items and chalk pieces etc., So, as to enable us to engage the needy disabled on meaningful and gainful employment.
- By providing open employment in your esteemed organizations to the eligible disabled persons.
- By sponsoring an event like sports day, cultural day, world disabled day, New Year ’s Day, Diwali, Dussera, Christmas, Ugadhi festivals and any Birth day functions.
- By adopting a child/a person, a girl/a woman. Hostel expenditure for a month or for whole thirty members total expenditures or a part of the expenditures in the year.
- By providing essential commodities like rice vegetables and other general/kirana items, on regular/occasional basis.
- By donating utensils hostel useful items and occasional useful items, like school dresses chappals etc.,
- By recommending the above to the donor organizations and donors, Govt. agencies, other non Govt. agencies in corporate sector like banks and IT, other Industrial sector. So, as to enable us to develop the present activity and also enhance the activity for the future generation.
- By providing expertise in preventing the further birth/disable by educating the society with the pre-dominate reasons. So, as to help the society.
- By sharing your expertise in vocational skills by sparing valuable moments in imparting the same to our children.
- By sponsoring their expenditure on a devotional trip or a picnic trip/an educational trip an entertainment activity like cinema etc.,
- By celebrating your/your family birth day functions etc.,
- By sharing/sponsoring school bus expenditure.
